Please Help Us Walk Off Parkinson's

The Kipps family is participating in Walk Off Parkinson’s on September 22, 2019, at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. to benefit the Parkinson’s Foundation of the National Capital Area (PFNCA).  We walk in memory of Mary Louise Dunn Kipps (1930-2010), matriarch of a large and loving family. Mary endured Parkinson’s Disease for more than 20 years, but she never let it rob her of the magic in her smile, her words, her hugs and her presence. She was the loving mother of six and the grandmother of 15. Walk Off Parkinson’s gives us the opportunity to support others like our dear Mary. We gather to show how much Mary’s Magic Lives On. Her husband, her six children, her 15 grandchildren and now 5 great-grandchildren represent the love she shared with all and the grace with which she enjoyed life.

The Kipps family takes joy in supporting the Parkinson Foundation of the National Capital Area, which provides programs and services to those in the DC area suffering with Parkinson’s Disease.

That day, we will gather with thousands of others impacted by Parkinson’s to show that those facing this disease that they do not do so alone. We will raise funds to support those impacted by Parkinson’s including people diagnosed with the disease, care partners and their family members.
