Andy's Army Personnel called to active duty! Help those facing Parkinson's.
Helen and I are supporting the Walk Off Parkinson’s event on September 22, 2019 at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. to benefit the Parkinson’s Foundation of the National Capital Area (PFNCA). We'll be competing in a regional pickleball tournament in Myrtle Beach on Walk-Off day, but we're definitely at Nats' Park in spirit!
For those of you participating in the Mid-Atlantic Open Pickleball Tournament in Arlington (Oct. 5 & 6), the Walk-Off event is one of our key fund-raising activities.
We will be supporting thousands of others impacted by Parkinson’s to show those facing this disease that they do not do so alone. Those walking the field at Nationals Park will be raising funds to support those impacted by Parkinson’s - people diagnosed with the disease, care partners and their family members. Please join our cause!
I was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2011 and have benefitted directly from the resources at PFNCA.
PFNCA is the leading organization in our area providing programs and services directly to those impacted by Parkinson’s. While there is no cure for PD, research tells us that those diagnosed with it can take steps to slow how the disease impacts them. PFNCA provides exercise, communication and education programs throughout Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C.
